SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
GOAL: To provide a backpack full of school supplies to 230 of our Find My Genius scholars enrolled in our summer program! You can be a part of setting them up for success in the 2026-2027 school year.
ITEMS NEEDED per Backpack:
- School Supply/Pencil Box (plastic)
- 24-Pack Crayons
- 1 Composition Notebook - Wide-Ruled
- 1 Spiral Notebook
- 1 Box of Pencils - Wood or Mechanical
- 1 Box of Colored Pencils
- 1 Eraser
- 3 Pocket Folders
- 1 Glue Stick
- 1 Hand Sanitizer
DROP OFF LOCATIONS:
Simi Valley Family YMCA & Yarrow Family YMCA
Bins are located in the lobbies
You can donate in multiple ways!
- Entire contents for one backpack
- Any of the listed items
- Monetary: check or credit card or card on membership file
The cost of supplies for one scholar is $40.
