Camp E.L.K.

Become part of a special Simi Valley YMCA tradition.  Camp E.L.K. provides a unique experience for campers and staff to explore the native beauty of one of southern California’s mountain ranges.  Located near Mountain High, the camp comes complete with a climbing wall, craft center, archery range, and refreshing swimming pool.  Swim and canoe in a scenic nearby lake.  Activities include a talent show, slide show of present and past memories, campfires, skits, songs, stories, and of course s’mores.  Our programs will challenge campers to improve themselves in body, mind, and spirit and our nurturing staff will lead campers through team building activities that promote lasting friendships and memories. Grades 4th - 12th.

Camp Edwards

Big Bear here we come! Be ready for canoeing, swimming, low ropes, hiking and YMCA Rag and Leather program. The heart of the camp experience is in the diverse activities offfered, coupled with the support the YMCA camping staff. This camp is tailored to our younger campers.  Our trained and caring staff are ready to show your young camper a great time!! Camp Fox

Camp Fox is located on beautiful Catalina Island! Make sure to bring sunscreen to Fox, because it’s fun in the sun from kayaking to snorkeling, fishing, archery, high and low ropes challenges, swimming and hiking. Of course, we feature the Rags & Leathers programs, campfires and other camp staples that make for fond memories. Grades 6th - 12th.

Camp Oakhurst

Join the Conejo Valley YMCA's most popular camp today! Located between the towns of Coarsegold and Oakhurst, off the beautiful highway to Yosemite National Park, Camp Oakhurst provides a great selection of activities for our campers.  Our camp directors have over 30 years of successful experience in YMCA summer camping, and a staff that have grown up in our camp’s program.  Campers will rotate with their cabin mates through an elaborate schedule of daily activities like swimming in the beautiful camp swimming pool, climbing up the 3-story climbing wall, working through elements of ropes challenge courses, shooting bow and arrows at the archery range, riding trails on mountain bikes, and so much more.  Our staff adds special events, themes, campfire programs, and a positive uplifting spirit to every camp day.  Campers will stay in nice camp cabins with bunk beds, with 6 to 10 cabin mates of their own gender and age group, and enjoy 3 meals a day served in the camp dining hall.  This is our most popular summer camp, where campers usually come home with strong, new, and lasting friendships.  There is also a high-quality Leadership Training experience available by application.  Call 805-523-7613 for more information.   

11th grade returning campers will serve as Counselors in Training (C.I.T.).
